Old Main Restaurant + Bar in Crete is a great spot with a very classic feel. The atmosphere has a lot of character, and it feels like the kind of place that fits perfectly in a downtown setting. It has that comfortable, welcoming, old-school restaurant and bar feel that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy yourself. It also has the biggest entry door you will probably ever see! The food is very good, and it’s the kind of place I’d be happy to come back to for a meal or drinks with friends or a business meeting. They also have a great upstairs area for events, which seems like it would be perfect for gatherings, parties, or a private dinner. I’m also looking forward to checking out their beer garden and catching some live music there. Between the classic atmosphere, good food, event space, and outdoor setup, Old Main is a great addition to Crete and definitely worth a visit. Onion Rings were bland, overly oily. Chicken Wrap ive had better from McDonald's. Lettuce was strong tasting of dirt, chicken was over cooked and hard. For $15 your better off going to Subway or anywhere else. Prices are ridiculous for the Quality and Quantity being put out. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1

Calling this restaurant fine dining is huge stretch. There is no front desk for seating arrangements. We had to walk into the “fine dining” area to find a waitress to seat us. After ordering drinks and appetizers it took us eating our entire appetizer before ever even receiving water. I ordered the 40 day dry aged ribeye medium rare, and it showed up so rare that I could only stomach about half of it. My wife ordered the filet at a medium. One of them was medium and the other was very rare. For $250 dollars it should have been 20x better across the board. This was a very disappointing experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

For a $250 dinner, your steaks should have been prepared perfectly, and your service should have been seamless from the moment you walked through the door. Missing the mark on both water service and steak temperatures is unacceptable to us.
