The owner is super sweet and allows you to sample almost anything, and the alcohol is to die for! I LOOOOOVE the blueberry liqueur!!

BEWARE - THEY PAD YOUR BILL and IGNORE YOU WHEN YOU CALL THEM OUT ON IT!! Went to Ellicott Mills Brewing Company for the first time last week. We sat at the downstairs bar, had a couple of drinks and shared an appetizer. We tipped the bartender 15% of the total bill as we felt it was fair enough. I checked my credit card statement and noticed the amount the Brewing Company submitted for was higher than what I totaled out at so I called and spoke with Jamie. She seemed very understanding of my concern, asked for all the pertinent information, told me the General Manager got in at 5 pm, that she would have my ticket pulled, bring the matter to his attention and have the difference credited to my CC and the GM would contact me by phone or email later that day. No one has bothered to get back in touch and my CC company confirmed today that NO credit is pending from them. Clearly they have zero intention of making this matter right. We won't be going back as I couldn't trust they wouldn't pad my bill again nor would I suggest anyone else go - unless paying in cash - otherwise they might rip you off too. Timmy in response to your post: Disparaging a customer doesn't make your business look any better. Nice but failed attempt at discrediting my review. As I mentioned to Jamie it's not the amount of the discrepancy but the principle. Anyone with a shred of character would understand that however your response was "It was literally 50 cents different". Apparently you feel it's okay for you to take 50 cents of my money without my consent. For the record we had nothing to complain about while we were there (telling that you felt we should have been complaining the entire time though) - my grievance is in how this discrepancy was handled. You've accused me of lying when in fact it is you doing so. $54.62 looks nothing like $55.12, I was in touch with my bank before posting this review and elected not to dispute the entire charge because, as I told the rep, I'd gladly give up the 50 cents to learn the true nature of the people behind the business as it's in the way a business handles a dispute that shows their true character. What an epic fail for Ellicott Mills Brewing Company. Thanks for putting my money back where it belongs and best of luck to you! Timmy - look at me editing again...I noticed you edited yours too...nice option right? Anywho...since you and I both know that I don't have my copy of the receipt (as I told Jamie right upfront that I didn't) but you apparently do because you've concluded that my writing was so atrocious that's how this all happened - you have my permission to post that receipt. Also you can say what you like but I did the legwork before posting the review and there was NO credit posted or pending before it went up. Come on, do you really think I randomly decided to post a bad review? Had someone on your end made good on their word this could have been avoided. You've been calling me a liar but in fact I'm the one that was lied to huh? Downgraded the review for that.

She is lying. It was credited immediately. Itbwas not ignored. That a bold faced lie as she edited her comment later to verify it was credited. It was literally 50 cents different. It was credited Friday. She came Wednesday for free comedy and talked and complained the entire time. The copy as was shown her writing was atrocious. Its was added as a 750 tip instead of 700. We credited her account 50 cents so she is simply lying. We ask her to please post the copy of the bill so everyone can see she is lying
