Absolutely killer place. The hostess, waitstaff, and chef all made an effort to make you feel welcomed like you are a close friend stopping in for dinner. Every appetizer and entree was top notch. There’s a reason he’s a James Beard award recognized chef. If this place was down the street from my house versus two hours away, I’d be here weekly. Exceptional place and a true gem for Appleton and Wisconsin in general. Stop here. You’ll love it. What an absolutely incredible dinner at ELLINOR! This is one of those places where the entire experience is just as memorable as the food. We sat at the counter, were immediately welcomed, and had a front-row seat to watch the chefs create each dish. We shared the steak salad, roasted carrots, cauliflower and toast, all seasonal specials, and every single dish was outstanding. The flavors, colors, local ingredients and beautiful presentation made each plate something special. You can truly taste the creativity and care that goes into the food. One of the things we love most about ELLINOR is the shareable menu. It gives you a chance to try so many different flavors and dishes together, and there is always something new and seasonal to experience. Add in the warm atmosphere, conversations with the people sitting around us, and watching the kitchen in action, and it was just a perfect evening. ELLINOR isn’t simply a place to have a great meal. It’s a place where food brings people together and turns dinner into an experience. We absolutely love this restaurant and can’t wait for our next visit!
