Attended the buffet not worth £35 when drinks are not included. Food was ok, service was mediocore a smile goes a long way! Cocktails was great though. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I attended Enish Old Kent Road on the 27th April for a family birthday. Unfortunately my first impression was not great. The 2 ladies on reception, apart from one, looked bored, grumpy and uninterested. Please cheer up or go home. One of the male waitors/chefs was aggressive when we left our finished plates near the buffet area and ordered us to take them back to our table. I explained that one of the waiting staff had told us to leave our plates there. He shouted and asked us who had told us to do that. What a shocking way to talk to paying customers :( learn some manners. Without our custom you have no business. The buffet itself was lacking in choice and the food although very tasty, was cold. In addition nothing was labelled, so for a non-Nigerian not used to.our food you would not have a clue what you were eating. When we asked for containers to take food home one of the female waiting staff looked as if we had slapped her. She was extremely offended and was very abrupt in refusing our request. 'It's a buffett" she snapped. 'You can eat as much as you want". I pointed out that a sit down buffet did not necessarily mean you would be able to finish all the food presented. I was not going to force myself to a third helping when I was already full up. I've attended other buffets and the restaurant staff have been more than willing to provide plastic containers. If we're paying £35 for a meal we should be entitled to take food home that we've paid for in advance, especially in view of the prices. Who in their right mind would charge £6 for ONE bottle of Supermalt?? It's a real shame that we continue to deliver such poor customer service and rip off prices. Why should we patronise and promote our own if this is the type of treatment we are going to receive? I would rather eat my own traditional and delicious African cuisine but at least Indian/Chinese provide large portions and value for money without the attitude. I believe we have a long way to go to improve our restaurant standards. Dear Enish please train your staff and review your ridiculously inflated prices. Thank you.
