Visited Escape Manor Toronto a couple weeks ago to play The Asylum and had the absolute delight of having Wayne as our host for the night. This EM location has always been top tier for service and experiences, but Wayne takes it up a whole other notch and makes it feel like you're absolutely meant to be there- we felt like VIPs with how kindly and enthusiastically he was engaging with us throughout our entire visits- Wayne has a way about him that makes you feel like you've known him forever, which makes for a positively memorable experience! While I'd played Asylum before at the EMH location, I appreciated their creativity with the space and the extra challenges they threw in for "hard mode"- it made the redo slightly novel while sticking to its roots and made it enjoyable even as someone who knew what was coming. My escape partner had an absolute blast so for him I can attest that the room certainly set the mark and the standard for all lab/hospital/asylum type rooms- and I've played over 50 rooms with a few to a similar theme and The Asylum at Escape Manor always beats out the others, there's no competition there. As always, the venue is gorgeously themed, the ambience is divine, the food/drink selection is vast and from previous knowledge, delicious all around! While we only had waters on our visit this time, I haven't a doubt in my mind that we'll be back for Cabin 13 with our appetites and thirst for thrill! Thank you to the entire team here, you guys rock so much and any time I get asked by friends or peers for an escape room venue in the city, please know that you are always on the forefront of my mind and I recommend it so so highly, and with such emphasis and high regard. So dear strangers asking yourselves or this review section if it's worth it to visit the Manor, I affirm it to you with a resounding YES!!! And doubly so if you get the honour of connecting, chatting, laughing, and even being hosted by Wayne!!!!
