Went here to celebrate my friends birthday; service left us confused and untended to throughout the session, forgetting components of the diy mimosa pack we ordered, I had to go to the bar and get the juices myself. Also, some food came out cold and with requested to remove items still on plates. Too much money for such poor service. Have come here before and mostly loved it, apart from the last few times. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30

OMG SO GOOD! The food was delicious and staff were friendly and knowledgeable! I am gluten free and our waitress, Ava, went above and beyond helping me navigate the menu and what my options were. When they were out of something, she helped me modify to make everything work! Not only that, the restaurant has ONLY gluten free fryers, so I had my pick! I don’t live in the Madison area, but I would honestly consider driving the 3 hours back just to eat here on the reg. The smashed potatoes are to die for and the matcha was smooth and delicious. Amazing!!! Stick to brunch at Everly. I’ve had great brunch experiences at Everly, but lunch there was underwhelming to say the least. When we arrived it was late afternoon and there was only 1 other table indoors and maybe 3 outside (none by the time we left so clearly had been towards the end of their meal when we arrived). Our service was ok. Our server checked in once, refilled one water at the end of our meal but never asked about drink refills otherwise. Getting anyone’s attention was nearly impossible when we had a question about our meal & we had to eventually flag down our server because she hadn’t checked in. Also, there were like 5-6 staff members standing around, a couple of which appeared to be managers possibly. My mom ordered the Acai bowl (which she regularly orders at other establishments). When it arrived, it was frozen solid. I’m talking could barely get the spoon to break the surface, it was like trying to get your spoon into ice cream straight out of the deep freeze. It also had frozen marks/creases like it had been pulled out of the freezer and thrown into the bowl. I understand making and freezing Acai bowls ahead of time, but they couldn’t even bother to throw it in a blender to make it smooth prior to serving. The bowl was also frozen on the bottom, like ice had literally developed around the bottom of the bowl telling us it had just been removed from the freezer and was actively thawing. When we mentioned this to our waitress and asked if this was normal (which in our experience wasn’t the consistency of an Acai BOWL you’d serve), she said that was how it was normally served and then said all she could do was throw it under the heat lamp if we wanted. We declined and my mom ate the fruit & granola on top and then we asked for a to go box with the hope that by the time we got home the acai bowl would be edible. It even frozenly thunked into the to go box. Again, I 100% understand the need to premake Acai bowls, but maybe before serving it, throw the frozen mix into the blender with some juice/water and smooth it out so that it’s an actual edible bowl? For $16 it feels like the least that could be done so that the server doesn’t need to half heartedly offer to throw it under a heat lamp to melt haha.
