The heartbeat of Poughkeepsie. Affordable food, without giving up the quality. Owner is a saint who gives to those without in the neighborhood. Price per person: $1–10 Recommended dishes: China Express, Bourbon Chicken, Salt Pepper Chicken with Broccoli, General TSO's Chicken Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: The budget scoops are not a risk to the quality.

Food is meh, just good for cheap. The guy at the counter always changes the prices of food depending on who you are for some reason. Sometimes it’s 3.50 sometimes it’s 5.00. He has favorites. I also wanna say that this place is insanely dirty (multiple health violations, you can go look it up on the local health dept page. Even if you’re looking to eat food on a budget I do not recommend going here, find somewhere else worthwhile because this place will leave you having a headache, seriously. ALSO WANNA SAY THAT THE PHOTOS YOU SEE OF THE FOOD IS FAKE! Look at the the review photos, that’s the real food! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Since you have purchased varying quantities on each visit, it is normal for the total price to differ each time you order. This is a straightforward and transparent pricing logic. My husband and family friend came back to the car so quickly I thought they had robbed the place. Hahaha. They were so happy with all the food they got and it was only $11 for a fuuulll take out container. Back to the hotel, the food was delicious and satisfying. Great and quick take out. No pictures. We were starving and at it too quickly!!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
