This is a classic pizza joint and in Marin, that's a good thing. They don't have the fanciest toppings but they make a delicious pizza and some tasty salads for ingredient most of us would recognize. Personally I don't want to have to look up ingredients on my phone and then wonder how that would ever work on a pizza. There are many neighborhood pizza joints in the world, this one is ours. Extreme Pizza in San Rafael offers a pub-like atmosphere with some of the best pizza around. Fresh ingredients are used and you can tell the difference. I love that you can buy pizza by the slice. I was able to taste a few different types of pizza. IMPORTANT: Removed to ask for pizza sauce - tomatp, pesto... whatever! Not all signature pizzas automatically have sauce. The manager, Charlie, was great. I was discussing having Extreme Pizza provide pizzas and sides for a block party for 50 people. They have a great package where you can choose pizzas and salads. Truman was great at helping me figure out which pizzas to try out. Great experience. Nice people. Terrific pizza. Great pizza and staff was super nice and helpful! Unique pizza choices and more sizes than I've ever seen before. Personal, medium, large, Xtra large, Huge!...and you can even buy by the slice!
