Do not miss the ceviche, steak, and chicharrón rice. The green salad was also a great starter! For misses, we didn’t care for the mejillones as they didn’t taste very fresh, or the fried shrimp (they were served room temperature and not hot even though they were fried). I had a beautiful dinner at Fierro in Juárez and I’m already looking forward to going back. I started with the crudo de pescado, which was fresh and full of flavor, then had the carne asada which was perfectly grilled and deeply satisfying. I paired everything with two Negronis and two Rrei IPA beers that complemented the food wonderfully. For dessert I tried the helado de gloria, fresas con crema, and a walnut jelly that were all rich, creative, and delicious. The service was warm, professional, and the atmosphere felt like a true celebration of northern cuisine in the heart of Mexico City. It’s a place that combines honest flavor with elegance, and one I’d be happy to return to for more. I’m already eyeing the arroz con chicharrón and carne apache for next time.
