What an absolute jewel on Magill Road. The service was really good with very friendly staff. The menu was really interesting with a Japanese theme. We had the toastie and the corn fritters. They both were presented perfectly. The corn fritters were just wonderful with a lovely salad. Would definitely go back for lunch on a Saturday and breakfast again. Coffee was also great.

After being regular customers and promoting this place to several friends and family, the last couple times we unfortunately well below par. The food initially was fantastic but several mishaps have however tainted our recent experiences. Prior to our last visit my wife had a hair in her iced chai latte. Staff unapologetically took the chai and gave her another. Our last visit, my wife ordered the breakfast bowl which unfortunately was swimming in parsley (despite no mention of this in the menu). As we told the waitress (who was lovely and very friendly) that my wife cannot eat parsley, she took the dish away and mentioned our issue to the kitchen. Unfortunately they could not remake the dish without parsley and then told us to try another dish, but also we still needed to pay for the dish, as we did not say we can’t eat parsley. If an ingredient is not mentioned in a dish, we do not need to say we can’t eat that. As regular customers we felt that this is terrible customer service and now unfortunately, will not return. Fine and Fettle need to acknowledge when they are wrong and need to sometimes wear the costs of their mistakes.
