Amazing Lebanese food, huge fresh flavours in every wrap and the loaded chips box was incredible. Big shoutout to the guy serving us, genuinely so friendly and helpful, made the whole visit even better. Will definitely be back! I’ve been coming to this falafel shop for a while now, and it never disappoints. What’s even more exciting is that they’re now introducing half boneless chicken and grilled dishes to the menu. Falafelo is located on the left side of Bruce Grove Overground Station - Visited on Mon 13th April 2026 at 8:30pm What I Paid - Total spent: £7.50 — amazing value for fresh, tasty food in London ️ What I Ordered: £6.00 — Chicken shawarma wrap with salad and fresh garlic sauce and £1.50 — Chips with tasty sumac spice with a drizzling of fresh homemade garlic sauce ontop Chicken Shawarma Wrap The chicken shawarma wrap was seriously impressive The chicken looked freshly cut, juicy, nicely seasoned, and properly cooked. The wrap was packed well, not stingy, and had a really satisfying, generous filling The salad inside looked fresh, colourful, and crisp, which gave the wrap a really nice balance The garlic sauce tasted fresh and homemade, and it brought everything together beautifully The wrap looked like the kind of food that is messy in the best way — full of flavour, full of sauce, and made properly You can tell this is not just thrown together quickly — it looked like it was made with care and pride. Chips The chips looked golden, fresh, and nicely covered with sumac spice. Every chip is made fresh nothing is left over or old The sumac gave them a lovely extra kick and made them feel more special than standard chips. The garlic sauce on top looked generous, creamy, and fresh For £1.50, the portion looked really good value. Simple, tasty, and done properly — a perfect side to go with the wrap. Freshness & Ingredients Everything looked freshly made and fresh on display. The salad counter looked bright, colourful, clean, and inviting. The sauces and ingredients looked well kept and nicely presented. Even from the food photos, you can see there is real care in the freshness of the ingredients. The garlic sauce being kept chilled also gave a good impression of cleanliness and standards. Shop Cleanliness & Atmosphere The shop looked clean, tidy, and well looked after. The food display looked neat and appealing. Nice bright setup with everything presented clearly. Two seats inside if you want to sit in and eat. Napkins were given for free, which is always appreciated. It felt like a small, humble, hidden gem rather than a place trying too hard. Customer Service - Egyptian-owned Customer service sounded and felt super friendly, polite, and welcoming. Asked for extra garlic sauce on the wrap and chips and it was no problem at all. Really nice to hear that they were so easy-going and generous. A big positive was seeing him double wrap another customer’s bag so nothing leaks — that is real care and attention to detail. You can tell they want people to leave happy, and that kind of warmth goes a long way. There is a reason people keep coming back and leave with a smile. Final Verdict Excellent value for money, more importantly it is Affordable. Fresh, tasty food. Lovely garlic sauce. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and well-kept shop. Definitely worth visiting again. You come in hungry, you leave feeling full and happy, this is how a proper takeaway should be and you want to come back. Would I Come Back? Yes, 100%.
