My wife and I went here after seeing pictures and videos of the view. We made reservations and showed up at the reserved time. We walk up to a line of people waiting at an empty hostess station. When the hostess returned I walked up and told her I had a reservation for 3pm and she said "There's a bit of a wait, head downstairs and we will get you when the table is ready l" without even looking up at me. I thought to myself isnt the pount if a reservation to avoid the wait? Whatever, we wait for about 15 minutes and to nobody's surprise I see the hostess wandering around looking for someone. I'm pretty sure its me shes trying to find and she doesn't remember what I look like because she never even looked up at me during our check in. I walk up to her and she says "did i talk to you upstairs?" I was like "yup, table for 2" and she seats us at the table thats been empty since we got there. Now we sit there for 15/20 minutes with the menu and not a single waiter or manager in sight. Finally, the waiter comes and we give him out drink, app, and main course order since we had time to read the menu 5 times over. Another 15 minutes pass before we get our drinks (a mule which was good and a spritz served in a martini glass). Its now been over 30 minutes since we sat down and we have no food and the drinks are gone before the apps arrive. The bus girl hands us our app and we asked for 2 small plates to share it. She says "someone will bring." Needless to say those plates never made it. Food came from a kitchen staff member and still haven't seen the waiter since we ordered. Finally, get a drink order in when the waiter comes over probably an hour since we last talked to him at this point. We got desserts that were mediocre, payed the bill and left. Won't be going back. If it weren't for the location this place wouldn't last a month. As a Riverhead local, Farm Country Kitchen has been among my favorite restaurants for years! These pictures are from my visit on 8/19/26 with a few friends who were visiting for the first time. Although everyone’s food (and drinks) came out amazing, my favorite is always the Roberto Pasta. We ordered the chocolate cake and lemon raspberry dessert which were both delicious. Gianna was our server and she was both attentive and very friendly! If you’re planning a trip and worried about parking, there’s a big lot on Sweezy Ave. for Farm Country Kitchen guests which I find much easier than in front of the restaurant! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60

It's our 3rd home. You will not get better "real food" anywhere in Rivd. Love love love.....deserves more than a 5-star rating!!!
