Excellent vegan donuts, inside the ferry building near the pier/ Lots of options, I bought a variety, they all tasted great. A little pricey, $3 per vegan donut, great service. By contrast Whole Foods has 6 vegan donuts for $10. Much better value

When I'm lucky enough to be at the Ferry Building at the same time they are, I overdo it and get too many so I can try new ones every time. Always worth it. I think the simple ones might be the best except the days when the elaborate ones are. Can't go wrong.

Donut Farm, formerly Pebbles Donut Farm, was established in 2006 by Josh Levine, a San Francisco native who is a lifelong music enthusiast and activist. What started as a wholesale business turned to a vegan donut staple. This establishment is now found in Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Donut Farm is dedicated to veganism: 1) that a vegan diet is the most sustainable diet for human health and compassionate living and 2) that animals do not need to be hassled in any way for humans to exist. Donuts at Donut Farm are baked fresh every day. The Ferry Building's best kept secret has to be Donut Farm. The shop will be found tucked in a small corner and might be easily missed. It is a small space with a lot of donut options. The person who took me at the register was friendly and welcoming. This dessert spot is perfect for a grab and go. I was overly eager to try these vegan donuts. Luckily, one of the locations is right next to my office. I bought half a dozen donuts in different flavors. My favorite one was the orange creamsicle. My non-vegan friends and co-workers enjoyed their first vegan donuts. I see myself coming back for more sweet surprises.
