This is not a review of the food, which is presumably okay, but rather of the incredibly bad experience we had when we tried to make a booking for a larger party of 20 people. The key words here are unprofessional and frivolous. At the beginning of October 2024, we needed a place to gather 20 people for a dinner with 20 days' notice. Wrote an email to Fasangården on a Saturday, which was not answered the following Tuesday, which is why we sent another email. The next day, Wednesday, there was still no answer and to speed things up we therefore tried to call the Fasangården. They were polite on the phone and quickly confirmed that they could easily accommodate us all on the requested date. We asked for a written confirmation of the booking, which we were promised. Two days later there was still no response to email or any kind of booking confirmation and with two weeks to our company. We made another call to Fasangården to confirm the booking. It turned out that nothing had been noted in their calendar and they had noted a wrong email address, which is why our reply had been lost in an outbox. We were promised that our booking would be noted in the calendar, and that a booking confirmation would be sent by email later the same day. The next day we had still heard nothing and now called for the third time to request written confirmation of our agreement. This time the employee could see the booking in the calendar but was not aware why a written confirmation had not been sent. Of course, the person promised to send it, but the next day we still hadn't received anything. On another call to Fasangården, we spoke to a polite employee who unfortunately had no responsibility in relation to bookings, but wanted to ensure that the message was forwarded to the person responsible. For the whole of the following week, Fasangården was presumably on autumn holidays, as we were greeted by their answering machine every day. In the same week for our company, with three days to go, we tried to call Fasangården a couple of times, but the phone was not answered and the call was never returned. We never heard from Fasangården.

Unfortunately not a good experience from us. We ate dinner and for starters my father had a soup which was then cold. However, my starter was outstanding, salted cod. The main course was far too heavy and boring, this wasn't at a good temperature either, it was also almost cold. We asked for some salt and pepper but they never brought it. The restaurant was not busy, but the service was extremely slow and the main course took a long time to arrive. Unfortunately, we felt that the wait was in vain and we could have done without the main course, we actually only ate a few bites because it was not delicious and because, as written earlier, it was too cold. So all in all a bad and disappointing experience. The pheasant farm needs to step up on the dinner front.
