Heard about this place from a local. It’s dark inside but a lot of space with tables. It does get loud and you can hear conversations with the different levels. I went in the afternoon-late lunch. No wait but server took 10 minutes to first greet me. Ordered hot tea, squid salad, and two rolls from the special menu. All very good. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

My husband and I were finally on a long-overdue date night. I ordered a glass of wine but had forgotten my ID. The waiter brought it, and after I took a sip, he told me I couldn’t have it. I completely understood and asked if I could at least finish what I had already tasted, and he said yes. Moments later, a manager told us we had to leave entirely. I explained that I had asked the waiter and was given permission, but it didn’t matter. My husband even asked if he could finish his beer since he had his ID, and they still said no and insisted we leave. As we were walking out, I overheard the waiter talking about us, which was upsetting—especially after I had tried to handle the situation respectfully and asked permission. We were even told we’re no longer allowed to return. I understand I should have had my ID, but the way this was handled felt unnecessary and disrespectful. We would have happily stayed and enjoyed dinner without drinks. Food tasted great. We came before the dinner rush at 5, so we were seated quickly. We had one issue though. We finished our food at 6:10, and didn’t get our check until 6:40. I even reached out to another employee, as I never saw my waiter, for the check. I don’t think I’ve ever waited so long for a check. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
