Bar with discreet entrance but pleasant space behind a pretty hallway. It has a very interesting and executed drinks list and menu, with ok prices. We ordered several drinks and food: • Nothing Ephemeral: gin with jambu flower, chamomile, Peychaud's bitters and citrus, served with a spoonful of tucupi sago with native bee honey (it was good, but I expected more complexity); • Alice's Tea: 7 year old Havana rum, caramelized apple liqueur, spice tea, grapefruit and citrus foam; • Fruitful: white cachaça, yellow fruits, cupuaçu, mate foam with lemon and octopus biscuit farofa (the best); • Penicillin: scotch whiskey, honey syrup with ginger, lemons and smoked single malt perfume, accompanied by a ginger candy (delicious); • Bamboo: fine sherry, red vermouth and orange bitters; • Slutty Tapioca: tapioca mochi grilled over the fire with honey, soy sauce and wasabi (very tasty, but I don't think the sauces were those); • Fried Polenta: very delicious, with tomatoes and cheese on top; • French fries: wonderful and served with a great quantity of mayonnaise; • Bolovo; • Cheeseburger: very tasty, the simple one is super well done; • Closed-style Ancho Steak: plenty of steak with a good amount of potatoes and caramelized shallots, with mustard sauce on the side; • Ice Cream Cake: the highlight of the night, coconut ice cream cake with little pieces of toasted coconut, vanilla milk syrup and a little ball of incredible dulce de leche on top (the menu included dulce de leche whipped cream, but I thought it was even better ). In general, everything was super tasty, but I felt the food lacked consistency in relation to what was described on the menu. We went just a few days before Christmas, it could be due to a lack of some ingredients. There were also no options of the day, so prominent on the menu. The service is attentive from everyone, but most of the time it could be more friendly and attentive to the tables for new orders. Furthermore, we were at a large table and they left my first drink at the end of the table where no one was and without warning. It took a few minutes for another attendant to notice and draw the attention of others to identify who the lost drink belonged to. We went for cocktails at Fechado last Friday and it was a wonderful experience. Excellent food, incredible drinks and impeccable quality service. A drink suggestion I have to give is the “Jardim de Alice”. Amazing and very pleasant bar. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
