My absolute favorite dish here has to be the Kolkata style chicken Kathi roll. Also, the old Delhi butter chicken is also wonderful. Pretty much everything I have tried has been just divine. Would always recommend to everyone I know. Two nights ago I joined my close friends for dinner during Arizona Restaurant Week to enjoy some food at a new restaurant for us Feringhee of Chandler and to have some laughs. Upon entering we wer greeted warmly and taken to our table as the waiter described our options for appetizers, main course and dessert. Simply put the food at Feringhee Modern Indian Cuisine was fabulous! And being that there was an abundance- I was able to bring my lentil soup home where I currently enjoying it as I tend to this review. This was by far the best Indian food I have enjoyed the past year! I am not sure what I enjoyed more- the Amsol glazed pork belly appetizer -with the lovelypineapple Kurt and the green garlic chimichurri sauce or the Old Delhi butter chicken! Our dessert was a dense rich chocolate cake that finished off a most perfect night. I am still reminiscing of the experience. I cannot wait to go back! Lisa W.

Was going out on a date & I mentioned that I loved Indian food & he suggested Feringhee Modern Indian Cuisine. Being West Indian with an Indian grandmother hearing about modern Indian food didn't intrigue me at all. For me Indian food is comfort food. I don't want my comfort food modern . I decided to be open minded a give it a chance. When I got there I felt underdressed I didn't realized people dressed up like that here. The restaurant was very modern and nicely decorated a very nice place for a date or special occasion. Cauliflower 65 - Peanut Chutney, Furikake Thecha, Curry leaves Seasonal squash & vegetable kofta - Spinach Saag, Red Amaranth, Squash Blossom Tandoori paneer Mille-feuille - Tomato Makhani, Chukki Matar, Red Pepper Jam Garlic naan & saffron rice Drinks Love of Feringhee - Vodka, Grapefruit & Rose Botanicals, ST. Germain, Lime, Simple syrup. This was ok a little tart for me & I like tart. Madurai Express - Dark Rum, Malibu, Pineapple, Curry Leaves, Lime. This was so refreshing I really enjoyed it. All the food was sooo good. My only complaint is there wasn't enough heat. I know they probably do that for the masses. I will definitely ask them to turn up the heat next time.
