I have been a loyal customer of Julio Alberto's at 28th Street and Thomas for nearly 20 years, but sadly, the quality has declined significantly in recent years. It started with their horchata they changed the recipe, and now it’s terrible. I used to buy three or four a day, but now I don’t buy any at all. Most recently, I went in after my overnight shift and ordered three taquitos with cheese and guacamole. When I got home, I found a piece of metal inside one of them like a chunk from a grill scrubber. I’ve attached a picture. This is the last time I will ever go here. Not only has the food quality dropped, but this is potentially life-threatening. I am now seeking legal and medical help because I’ve had digestive issues since. I was lucky I caught this, but I’m not sure what might have happened. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to stay away as well. Just ordered their chicken enchiladas... I haven't eaten from here in a while but it was not edible. It was so overly salted, 2 bites in I had to stop! So disappointing...all I tasted was salt. It's so bad for you. Take it easy with that salt shaker for goodness sake. I want to taste the red sauce. Meal type: Dinner
