We decided to try Firehouse Subs for the first time and did an online order. We were excited about the online customization options and the gluten free buns. One of our subs was missing multiple customizations that we selected. The other one was done perfectly. We didn’t realize until we got home so we called the store and asked if a refund would be possible for the sub that was improperly made. We were trying to be understanding and thought that this was a simple request for an incorrect order. We were told the manager would give us a call back, which he did quickly. The manager/owner(?) was instantly very rude (to the point that my wife was crying on the phone), talking over us and yelling at us that he made the sub himself and made no mistakes at all. He then said we were being entitled and should be more flexible about our order. I’m not sure what warranted this reaction, my wife and I both tried to be very patient and calm on the phone. Unfortunately, I think this was our first and last time at Firehouse subs, particularly this location. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Went there ordered my food sat down decided I wanna drink so I got up to order a drink, and there was a cockroach crawling on the cups. The owner grabbed the cockroach off the cups and went on about making subs without washing hands or anything ask for my money back and went somewhere else

Yikes, that definitely sounds like a rough experience! I’m really sorry to hear about the unwanted visitor in our space. That’s not at all what we want for you. We did an order online. When my husband arrived to pick up the order, someone else had taken it. Supposedly the person that took the food, which I hope it was a mistake, was bringing it back. They said they didn’t touch it. But how can you really verify that? When my husband told them he wanted fresh food that wasn’t potentially touched by a stranger or a refund, they refused saying we had to pay 50% to get untouched food because they already made it. I’ve never been to a place that they would give you food someone else has left the establishment with. That’s disgusting. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
