The size of a British style corner pub. Was there for a comedy event and karaoke. They new there own beer there. I'm not a beer drinker, but was told it was yummy

This summer's offering of their raspberry wheat ale is a world class brew.Period. You cannot acquire this, anywhere else. Albeit, it is a shame that First City Brewery doesn't currently offer any canned options for takeaway. I believe they do have the growler option, though. Please inquire. Definitely worth a visit to taste this beer. Also, the BLT and Clubhouse sandwiches are quite good and hearty. The staff are very cordial, laid back, and their customers that I've encountered also appear to be the same. It is similar to visiting a local bar or cafe from decades ago, with regards to the surrounding neighborhood, interior decor and so forth. Charming. Unpretentious, which is great. People actually have conversations there, as opposed to youth-oriented establishments that have primarily accoutrements for those that just want to play with their electronic devices, with little interaction with anyone else in the room. Prices are quite reasonable as well, compared to most anything else that is a more tourist-oriented destination along the waterfront in Saint John. . Thanks, First City, well done.
