Gluten Free options. Loved the East Indian touches to the traditional fish and chips experience. We split this portion between myself and my wife and we were satiated. Highly recommend. I’m a coeliac and as I got to Victoria, I googled GF restaurants and Fishhooks came up. After reading the menu, I was intrigued- I come from London (home of fish and chips, but the GF versions are either clunky, heavy or too oily), I ordered the cod fish and chips. The presentation was good, but the taste was even better! The batter was light with a great level of crunch. The fish was moist, the chips were dusted in a gentle masala sprinkle. It was served with a side of home made picked vegetables and the most delicious green sauce that complemented the food. This place is a little gem, I’m excited to come back and explore the menu more! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Dietary restrictions: Totally Gluten Free and Coeliac safe!!! They have some dishes that contain cheese, but most dishes are dairy free.
