This was not a good visit. One of the things that stands out is asking for a tip when placing an order at the counter. I looked around, and saw they'll bring food to you and clean after you, but that's it. I ordered a Chicken Yakisoba. My daughter had a kids steak meal and wanted a lemonade. We weren't told they weren't normal lemonade flavors, so I basically paid for my daughter to drink water, she didn't want "lemonade with rose water". My friend asked for a soft drink, was charged for a cup, and also ended up drinking water, because they didn't bother to say "sorry we don't have soft drinks here.". My meal arrived, and 4 bites in, I was done. My Yakisoba noodles were cut up like I was a toddler eating spaghetti, it was full of mushrooms (I cannot stand mushrooms and nowhere on the menu did it state they would be in there ... Hey that's dangerous for people with allergies, fyi), my snap peas were woody and mostly cold except a few warmish spots, and two solid mouthfuls of cilantro was enough, and the Green Tea mixture I had for a drink was disgusting. At this point, I have my fork across the full bowl and I'm not touching my drink, and all FOUR employees kept looking at the table, even making eye contact... But nobody came over to check on the table. Why would they, after all, the tip was already paid, right? So, at this point my $17 food is uneaten, my drink is untouched, and my daughter is drinking water for the cost of a lemonade. The steak for the kids meal was cooked well done and chewy, completely lacking in flavor. My daughter had trouble chewing it, and I took a piece to try and it was like eating soft leather. I will not be back. This place lacks basic customer service you'd expect at a restaurant. They're happy to take your money and leave you be...after all, you already paid at the counter. My friend said she really liked Flower Child and we stopped in for an easy to-go lunch on our way to the airport. The menu is pretty large and has some nice, healthier options on it which I appreciated. I decided to go with a turkey wrap with a side salad and fresh tea. I mixed and matched the green and black teas and some lemonade and it was so good! My wrap was large, fresh and yummy and loaded with toppings and my side salad was fresh with a delicious oily dressing. I saw a few locations around Austin so, this reminds me of a Panera of Texas-type vibe. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Went in this location on Sunday, been here many times and has always been a great experience. However, the air conditioning clearly was not working and it was extremely uncomfortable to even be in there for a minute. Thankfully, the food and service was great but the AC ruined it.
