Our family just moved to the area and have designated Formaggio’s Pizza as our official pizza spot. You can tell the food is fresh! It is NOT greasy at all!! The crust is amazing. It is up there at the top of my favorite pizza recipes with Disney Epcot’s Italy pizza restaurant!! Yum!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pizza

First time ordering pizza here. We ordered pizza for delivery and it got here really fast. We ordered 18” pepperoni pizza and an 18” cheese pizza. We order pizza a lot and this is the best pizza we’ve had !!!! We just found our new pizza spot. Might check their breakfast in the future. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5

Hey Friends, trying another pizza joint...Formaggio's Pizza. You think authentic New York Pizza, right? The name is Italian and means cheese. Come on... Nope, it was far from a New York style pizza. The Mrs. and I ordered 8 wings dressed in garlic BBQ, garlic knots and a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The wings weren't anything special. Frozen, thawed wings drenched, I mean drenched in some kind of sauce...I don't know what... It looked like syrup truly. The garlic knots were uncooked and no crispy. They were true dough but the amount of butter/oil was 2x's the amount of garlic. So, last but not least, the pie. The pie was cooked evenly, the dough wasn't bad. Chewy but had no flavor. The buffalo sauce was from a can, no spice. Burn my mouth please with real buffalo sauce! There was no heat...There was no blue cheese, typical mozzarella. The chicken... This was the line. Prepackaged frozen but thawed chicken pieces. They were white, maybe microwaved and added the pizza. Come on, use breaded fresh chicken pieces..spice up the blandness. We paid close to $50, I'm disappointed. I wouldn't recommend the place because I want value for what I'm paying for and decent food. Just not my cup of tea, I know NY Pizza being a former New Englander. You decide. Remember Friends, Enjoy what you eat! Peace! *** Update, I observed the owners response. I appreciate his views and feelings for his business. That's passion...Maybe, this isn't my cup of tea. That's fair and fine. I did have the leftovers today. My feelings have changed a little. The garlic knots or zeppoles were better today then yesterday. We cooked them longer. They had a good crunch and the cooked garlic brought the flavor to a different level. No sauce dripping needed. The wings were better too. Cooked a lil longer to caramelize the sauce. The pizza was definitely better. The crust had more crunch. The sauce soaked into the dough. Still not enough heat. Maybe just ask for a longer cook on all three. I wish the business the best. Maybe, it's your cup of tea. Remember Friends, enjoy what you eat! Peace! I appreciate you coming and supporting our business. First and foremost sorry you didn't enjoy your dinner, but I did want to make a few corrections to your review. Your wing order was Honey Garlic which is a flavor we offer that I personally make in house, definitely not canned. The "garlic knots" you ordered were our Garlic Zeppolis which are fried dough balls with our garlic oil over the top of them if you wanted our garlic knots you could have ordered them as they are different from the Zeppolis which is an Italian fried dough. And finally our pizza which is right on our menu that tells you what comes on it, which is grilled chicken buffalo sauce that I again make from scratch sorry that it didn't "burn your mouth" next time we would be happy to make it hotter for you if you let us know. That is also not the cheese we use for our pizzas, our cheese here is a recipe that has been passed down since Formaggio's started in Brandon over 20 years ago. Again sorry you didn't enjoy, but I also feel you've completely misrepresented what you ordered Online yourself, maybe not knowing what you were ordering when you placed it. Thanks again for giving us a shot, to each their own.
