If you're looking for a classic, hearty made to order breakfast/brunch, Franco's Flapjack Family Restaurant offers a variety of entrees that's certain to please your palette. During my visit here on a weekend (before COVID), there was about a 25-30 minute wait. It was packed and seating was a bit of a tight fit. However, the service at the time was friendly and quick. Back to the food... They've got classic traditional entrees that come with your choice of hash browns, home fries, or fresh fruit and a choice of pancake, muffin or toast. You can also upgrade your fresh eggs to egg whites for $2. There is also a "Favorites" list on the menu with items like chicken & waffles, pancakes, crepes and more. You can make any item on that list a combo for $3. The combo includes 3 eggs of any style and your choice of two strips of bacon, two sausage links, one patty sausage, or one Italian sausage. In addition to the "Favorites" list, they've got benedicts, omelettes, frittatas, breakfast sandwiches or burritos, wraps, salads, cold sandwiches and burgers. In addition, they've got a kid's menu and plenty of side-order options for you to choose from. I went the traditional route and chose their Corned Beef Hash & Eggs w/fresh fruit and a side of toast. Along with that, I had to try their Deluxe Pancake which I thought was pretty good. I'd have to say, the food was good and pretty satisfying. The friendly service also made up for the long wait. As for the atmosphere, you can expect it to be quite loud especially on busy days. If your ears can't handle noise above 70 decibels, but you still want to try their food for brunch, they offer takeout as an option. Just keep in mind that their business hours are from 7AM-2PM.
