This cafe is superb- we came in around 2 on a Saturday, chose to dine in, and were shown available tables promptly. Our waitress was super sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu and their drink options - I'm gluten intolerant and was able to order a sandwich off the menu, because this awesome place has Gluten Free bread that's made in-house! Definitely not an option I get frequently. I ordered a "Honey Bunny Latte" and an Avocado Bacon Jam Grilled Cheese on the GF bread- the drink was tasty, not too sweet but still had flavor, and the grilled cheese was genuinely the best I've had. Overall an excellent meal! The ambiance was wonderful, they had great music, it wasn't particularly loud, and we were able to sit and read for a bit without any issues. Classic local cafe vibes. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a low key coffee or lunch experience! Great food and coffee. Cinnamon Roll was the size of my step-daughters head! We ordered extra coffee to go because it was so good. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20

The Friendly Fox may well be one of Fort Wayne's best kept secrets. I've been here multiple times, and it has never missed the mark; this is my favorite place to bring out of town clients for lunch. The menu selections offer a journey through flavorland with beautifully selected ingredient combinations, fresh, in-season produce, and generous, well presented portions. The staff is friendly and conversational without being overbearing or fake; they are fun and genuine. The atmosphere is enjoyable, intimate, and aesthetically pleasing, and the craft beverages and pastry case are unmatched in our city. Truly a sparkling gem in our beloved '07.
