I like the Friendship inn overall, the staff were helpful and friendly, decent beers at a good price, they had vegan options on the menu that weren't boring or terrible. Went with parents and me and my mum both had the vegan risotto which was really great for the money. Although it was meant to have asparagus but had tomatoes in instead not an issue for us, liked it anyway but thought it was a funny change. Dad had the fish and chips, which he enjoyed although said the fish is a little bit oily, the chips and what it came with are great so really hard to knock it at all. Beers were very nice and there was some life in the pub despite it being a later Sunday afternoon with no football on, not rowdy. Definitely recommend as an easy going spot for a pint and a bite. Oh and they had a gin and raspberry cheesecake we could eat too, awesome option and was really nice. Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Unique vegan option, not often seen in other pubs. I haven't been to the Friendship in a good while. Recently went and ordered a Hanging Beef Kebab as had it there b4 and it was delish. On this occasion I was very dissapointed and embarrassed as I took a friend with me. The beef was so hard you cooked break a window....Will NOT be returning
