This is the absolute best vegan pho I have ever had in my life! The food and the energy of this restaurant are soooooo beautiful. This has become my favorite restaurant in all of Portland. CRAZY good food!!! I was visiting Portland and would be in airports for a whole day on my way home to Atlanta. I’m vegan and had no problem finding plenty equity on the menu. I got multiple items so I wouldn’t have to hunt for food while in airports and whether I ate a dish while it was still hot or hours later in transit, everything was still incredibly flavorful and so pleasantly automatic! Also, my goodness, the spring rolls were not only outstanding, they were almost the size of my forearm. Incredibly delicious food, generous portions, and the owners are so very sweet and down to earth. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Portland! As Pho fans, we are always trying new places to expand our expectations. Friendship Kitchen is among the best we have tried! The food is fresh and flavorful. The options are traditional and fusion-based. We had a lemon grass dish, the pho, and a bahn mi sandwich. All were delicious! The service was great each time we have visited. On our last trip, Laura was especially kind and helpful to us. She represented her restaurant well, and service like hers will keep us coming back! The atmosphere is more like an outdoor food cart set-up, so this is the only drawback. However, they are dog friendly in the seating area, so that is a plus! If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and give them a shot. Pho fans - you will be glad you did! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
