Flavour innovation & variety! One of the best meals I've had in a long time due to the powerful flavour combinations - I can't fault this meal at all! The dips, sauces and seasoning create an explosive taste sensation experience. From coriander, tamarind and spices - they bring alive aubergine, chicken skin, salads and to top it off - steak! I can't describe how good the steak dish was. We picked Rump, 10oz. There was an option to have Picana in various weights too. I'm definitely going back to try the skate and okra. And a surprising winner, unexpectedly for me was KOHLRABI FRIES. You gotta try these with the coriander dip. Fresh sauces. You can taste the freshness of this dip. A real culinary adventure. Wonderful place. We had a really enjoyable time. I'm coeliac and the whole sharing menu is gluten-free! Brilliant. We chose vegetarian dishes and they were all delicious. I also had a gluten-free beer. Our little dog was with us and she happily settled in the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to returning in the future! We celebrated with all of our friends and family at the lilypad for the ‘day 2’ of our wedding and the service, food, drinks and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Roger and the team were phenomenal throughout the planning and day of. Everyone commented on how incredible the food was and how welcoming and hospitable all of the staff were. It’s a day we will never forget and I am so glad that we chose lilypad as our venue. It’s a very special place and one we look forward to coming back to forever. Thank you so much.
