It was time for Monforte, capital of the Ribera Sacra (famous for its wines, landscapes and gastronomy) to have a wine bar. Grolo is located in the city center next to the tourist office. As soon as you enter, your attention is drawn to the perfectly organized furniture (bookcase) and its original lamps with local vines. The place has a very modern style. Grolo vinoteca, wine store from around the world. Gallegos: designation of origin Ribeira Sacra, Valdeorras, Monterrei, Ribeiro and Rias Baixas, also wines from outside the designation of origin. Also national wines such as Ribeira del Duero, Rioja, Priorat, Catalunya, Toro, Madrid, Jumilla among others. Internationally, wines from Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Australia, France, the USA, among others. Among them we can find sweet, fortified, sparkling wines such as cava or champagne. And a selection of local liquors and gourmet products such as cheese, honey, oil or toasted bread. The owner is a charming girl who is passionate about the world of wine and in love with the Ribeira Sacra who can advise you to find the type of wine you like.
