Beautiful place to have a meal.. its a gorgeous old building in Ballarat..service was very good.. attentive staff, very friendly only downside was our steaks, we ordered medium they were well done.. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hello you stinky readers! OK that was mean, but hey I missed you guys! But ya know what’s not mean? Good food! And you can find some quality grub at ya bois from the Gallery Bistro at the prestigious ‘Craigs Royal Hotel’ situated in the heart of Ballarat! This big and grand hotel is the perfect setting for an opulent restaurant tucked away inside. The Gallery Bistro, headed by Chef Shannon Easton, with consultancy from Ian Curley of the ‘European group’ ; is a masterclass in low key elegance. To the wide set atrium room looking out to the night sky, the beautiful cockerel centerpiece, the comfy bentwood chairs; it’d be hard not to think you were stuck in a Parisian bistro. But we’re here in Ballarat, so hey no croissants today!
