I've eaten Indian cuisine nearly everywhere from New York to London to Berlin. This was easily the worst I've had. Food was tasteless and not fresh. A tandoori grill should not require gravy/sauce...the oven/spices should speak for themselves. The paneer pakora was almost certainly frozen or prepared days ago. It's tough to ruin Indian food...they managed to do it. The decor was inviting...but no one goes to a restaurant for that alone.

Delicious reasonably priced Indian food in the center of Nuremberg. Stopped when site seeing. Both vegan and gluten free options. We had something from the lunch menu, at the back of the regular menu. Included rice, salad, entree. I had the lamb Korma which was tender, had a bit of spice though not too spicy and I very much enjoy. My husband chicken curry which was mild and very tasty. We are outside. The inside is very cute. Recommend.

What is there to do on Christmas Day in Nuremberg? Eat good Indian food!!!! Ganesha is clean upscale Indian restaurant in old town of Nuremberg, with absolutely fantastic food, and good looking environment! Samosas were great...slightly smaller than in the US but excellent. Mango lassi was fantastic, all inclusive of the cup it was served in. Tandoori garlic chicken was the main course and was great. Super tender juicy chicken with a sauce that packs a punch. I did observe that Naan bread was a bit thin compared to what I experienced before and waiter explained that Germans prefer it that way! The only thing I would say could improve is customer service....this place has none. Order food, you get food. That's about it. Staff appears not happy, and the feeling you get is that jail guards dressed as waiters are serving fantastic food. Don't ask any questions as they are not happy answering them.
