It's was just after 2pm when we arrived at Gateway Curries. The place was quite. I stood at the counter for a few minutes, while the two behind the till had a discussion about how many samosas are available. With no greeting I was asked to place my order with I did and promptly paid for. My wife and I went to the washroom and returned to take our seats and wait. It was a good few minutes before my mutton bunny arrived. And the guys apologize for the bunny was left uncovered on a emply table while we were in the washroom. Needless to say it was not hot when we received it. It looked good with lots of gravy and I dug in. It was tasty or I was hungry! To start with the meat was tender but as I got to the bottom the meat was very firm, as if there were two different grades of meat. The patatoe was firm definitely not UTD as claimed in other review. The gravy although plentiful was disappointing and lacked the punch. Would I eat here again, not for a long time. Oh and there were plenty of flies around the table. Dissappointing all round.
