We have been to Gecko Grill several times and always enjoyed it until now. We arrived at 4:15 pm and asked if they were still taking customers because a sign on the door said they were closing at 5. Oh yes, we were welcomed in. We were rushed through dinner and while we were still eating, the staff was lifting the chairs onto the tables. Gave us the feeling that they wanted us to leave. We were not the last table however, feel that tables should not be put on tables until all customers leave. When we arrived, my husband mentioned that it was my birthday. The hostess asked if we were reward members but we were not. She brought over the QR code to use to sign up but it wasn’t really a sign up - you had to download an app and that wasn’t happening. As a result, no benefit for a birthday. We ordered quesadillas and they came plain. My husband asked for salsa & sour cream. I’ve never been to a place that didn’t provide salsa & sour cream with quesadillas. Bill came and we were charged $2.50 for each small cup of sour cream. Food was very good however the service was not. Very disappointing. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

The food is great, I'm so sorry to say that I will never go there again. Hit Morenos, Tia Rosas, and even the original Rosas, food is very similar. I have been a patron since they opened but since COVID they, like everyone else have taken the customer for granted. I will pay their high prices, I get it, I will endure being asked for a tip when I do pickup (100% since 2020) but I draw the line when I can't get enough hot sauce for my meal. I ask for it and they make me feel like a heel. Yeah hell I know they sell it, they always have, and when I had parties I would buy it. But when I pay over $40 for a meal that used to be $20 I don't think I should have to pay for what I want to use for the meal, I will go somewhere else. RISE UP takeout crowd and rebel don't take this, push back on the management that are taking for granted the fact that you are not taking up a table, water, plates, server time, AC and sometimes even still tipping, but are still paying full price, yet denied .25 worth of hot sauce.
