Disappointing Burger Experience at Geek HQ As an avid burger enthusiast, I was eagerly anticipating my visit to Geek HQ based on the buzz surrounding their burgers. However, my experience left much to be desired. Firstly, let's talk about the patty itself. It was dry and lacked any discernible flavor. It felt like I was biting into a rubbery, overcooked disc rather than a juicy, flavorful burger. It's as if the chef forgot that the patty is the heart and soul of any good burger. The toppings were also a letdown. Instead of fresh, vibrant ingredients, I was greeted with wilted lettuce and lackluster tomatoes. The cheese, advertised as "melty and gooey," was barely noticeable and failed to add any richness or depth to the burger. To add insult to injury, the bun was soggy and falling apart before I even finished half of the burger. It seemed as though it had been sitting out for far too long, losing its texture and becoming a sad, limp vessel for an already disappointing burger. The overall presentation was underwhelming as well. The burger arrived at my table sloppily assembled, with toppings spilling out and the patty barely contained within the bun. It lacked the care and attention to detail that one would expect from a place that prides itself on its burgers. To top it all off, the prices at Geek HQ are exorbitant for the quality of food they offer. I left feeling unsatisfied and with a considerably lighter wallet. In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a truly exceptional burger experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Geek HQ may have the aesthetic appeal and trendy vibe, but when it comes to burgers, they fall short in every aspect. A fantastic place to have burgers. They don’t have a very big variety of burgers. Yet the available ones are superb. Service, presentation and the taste is terrific.They didn’t let us go to the upstair dining area because we didn’t have 5 people. Ambiance in the ground floor is superb. BOYB is also available.
