This is the best gelataria in town, at least for my knowledge, and I'm always on a lookout for a good ice cream. Gelataria Portuense once proved to me that ice cream in Porto beats Italian and that says something. This place has a new set of ice creams every week or so, and they also keep the line of regular tastes that you can always try. The standards include pistachio that amazes me to this day - it's like a thick paste of pistachios made into a milky delight. For the tastes of the week they're always experimenting, but I cannot leave unmentioned the gorgonzola - a salty-sweet cheesy craziness that I once was lucky to try. And the spiced pumpkin, of course, the one they usually have on Halloween - if you'd see this in the menu, grab it at once. One nice thing to add - they do actually have a latte option in the coffee menu. If you're as me tired to find a decent cup of latte, that'd be your place as well.
