We used George's Kitchen for a recent meeting where we needed food to be catered. The food was good and many people commented on it. However, the experience was beyond horrible and we will never cater from them again. They were late and arrived after we needed them to be there. No plates, napkins, utensils or serving spoons were brought despite being told they would be. Luckily, we had backups. We have been trying to get an itemized receipt for over a week. My team called 3-4 times and was asked to call back every time. Then, we were told that the receipt had been sent via email but it had not been. When we called back again, we were told that it could not be located and they would not be sending it again. When we finally got a copy of something, it was not itemized. It was just the credit card confirmation receipt. It is a shame that their customer service experience for catering has been so rough. We would order their food again if it were not for the experience. We just cannot waste the time to follow up over and over again when they do not seem to care. Gyro meet cooked to the thickness and consistency of potato chips. Soggy fries. I called as a courtesy to let them know that discarding burnt gyro meat would be better than discarding a customer, and the owner said” are you trying to tell me how to do my job?” I was trying to be helpful. After having great experiences there til this one, his response has insured this one is my last.
