Georgette was a great experience overall. The area itself is lovely, and the atmosphere—despite the place being quite busy—remained comfortable. A few kids were running around, but it didn’t take away from the experience. The food was excellent across the board. The fries were flavorful, the gougères were perfectly done, and the steak was juicy, tasty, and cooked exactly right. We also tried the pizza, which was Italian-style and honestly better than some I’ve had in Italy. The sauces (béarnaise and a cheese sauce) were both fantastic. Their house beer, Georgette, was light, refreshing, and perfect for the warm weather. Speaking of which—note that the patio has little protection from the sun, so it can get hot during peak hours. Most of the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. One waitress, our main server, came off a bit direct—borderline harsh—but that was the only downside in an otherwise lovely meal. Food came out quickly despite the crowd, which was impressive. All in all, I’d definitely come back and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone in the area.
