Wonderful atmosphere under the huge lions and stairway of Teatro Massimo. The indoors are amazing too. There is a "cantina" like long modern saloon with photos of divas like Callas and Gencer. In addition to the long open space, there is a pompei red, old style dining hall with hand made -fresco-s / affreschi. A very neat union of modern furniture and antiqua. Great kind staff. Nice takes on sicilian classics. Ingredienti ricercati! Carefully selected ingredients. Especially the little cannoli with ricotta from Piana degli Albanesi was amazing. Decent cappucino. The Bourbon lemon cake was spot on! Great coctails too!!! Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was at the Giardini Del Massimo last week to toast an anniversary. Superb location needless to say, excellent service; a separate praise for the Maître d' in the dining room with whom I agreed everything in advance who proved to be kind, prepared and made sure that everything turned out to be perfect. Thank you Meal type: Other Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
