Dear Joe, thank you for your comments and for joining us in celebration of this wonderful holiday! Saint Joseph day is a celebration that gives thanks for the end of a famine, they say that there is always “enough food to go around, i am sorry that we ran out of soup , and you didn’t get a second helping. We did accommodate requests for anything we had enough of. We also ran out of cookies and cannoli in the last few minutes of service! We provided extra fruit sfinge and pitzelles in this case.If our servers seemed a little reluctant to promise a second serving of something, they were checking with the kitchen to confirm amounts. But it does sound like they did provide extras of some of the courses you requested. “Rationed “seems like a pretty harsh description to me. But yes we did have portion sizes for different size groups, that we thought were appropriate, most customers left very satisfied and full, after the 7 course meal. Although I recognize that everyone is different, and everyone has there favorites! viva San Giuseppe and god bless mary Ann
