we were given a table that had leftover dishes and food from the people before us. we waited over half an hour for the waitress to old take half the dishes. we had to go up the the counter and order our own meals even though it’s table service. the waitress came over to tell us the kitchen didn’t have something; then went to walk away, i had to ask her to clear the rest of the dishes from the people here before us; it had been 45 minutes at this point. when the food came over the waitress said “excuse me” and shoved a plate of food in my face, handing it to me instead of putting it on the table, didn’t say what it was and walked away, this happened for every meal that was brought to the table, with at least a 10 minute gap between every plate coming to the table; we ended up waiting another 15 minutes for the last meal to come. we were given no share plates, no cutlery and no napkins very poor service, rude staff, dirty dining area, long wait times do yourself a favour and don’t waste your time eating here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

ORDERED: Ka-Nah Moo Grob: Pork belly pieces are plunged into hot rice bran oil until golden brown, then sliced and stir fried with chinese broccoli. Served with fried egg and steam rice ($20.90 eat in, $19.90 takeaway). I spent $22.59 here. REVIEW: The ka-nah-moo grob is great. There's a little bit of spicy heat, so is the perfect compliment to the fatty and fried pork belly pieces. However, it's not the best I've had in the area. The other place does extremely crispy pork belly that I still dream about, to this day. Ginger Leaf Thai's version is more saucy, and the kitchen has been heavy handed with the garlic which makes it very fragrant. Steamed rice is great while the crunchy chinese broccoli and capsicum pieces ensures you get your greens. The egg has crispy edges which makes it great as well. Overall, not a bad dish for lunch. The service was a little bit lacking. Although I called to make a booking for 7, only 6 pairs of cutlery were placed on our table. However, there is a service area near the front to help yourself to any additional cutlery and the water. There's also a $1 difference for dining in or taking away. If you're more price conscious this may factor into your decision. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
