This is a classic old school cafe with decades of history! The interior is a bit dark of grungy but in a nostalgic and homely way (I loved it). I had an iced cafe Vienna and an iced cappuccino and they were fantastic. I also hadn’t had breakfast and was a bit hungry so I had the toast with spread (two spreads were given, a red berry jam I think was strawberry, and also red bean paste which normally I’m not a fan of but this was good) which was a nice light way to start the day. Please note that this cafe is smoker friendly so if you’re deeply opposed to smoking indoors then don’t go. Personally, I’d head back in a heart beat and enjoy some of their other coffee options. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

We were hunting for a sugar free matcha latte and an Earl Grey after a long day of travel and shopping and came upon the Ginza Ranzu. Although a smoking environment, the ventilation was good and my fiance said it was the best sugar free matcha latte she's had in Japan. The tea was great. Looked like the coffee was equally good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000
