The waitress was attentive and the overall service was good. The food arrived quickly. The Teriyaki Pork Belly Bao Bao Buns were AMAZING! The Seafood Pasta was typical and did not wow me in terms of flavor. Therefore, I don’t believe that particular dish is worth the price. They also told me they don’t have bread available for lunch.

Food was amazing!! Kelly our server was dash sweet and knowledgeable! Nice atmosphere but kid friendly! Can’t wait to come back!

We decided to try Go Fish Restaurant in Mystic for our Saturday "Date Night" We have not been their since they remodeled in 2017 We decided to eat local as my wife is still recovering from an allergic reaction 7 months ago! As we entered we encountered a family with children leaving We asked how everything was They said they enjoyed their meal and told us the mussels were outstanding. We did not have reservations and were hoping to get a table The restaurant was busy The hostess did have a table and immediately sat us The atmosphere was refreshing and comfortable We noticed a nice lounge/bar area and another area that was their sushi bar. The waitress introduced herself and seemed very upbeat and pleasant I believe her name was Jesicca, not sure Anyway I ordered a cocktails and 6 oysters fresh from Maine along with the recommended mussels. The oysters were excellent served over ice with the proper condiments The mussel were excellent cooked in white wine, garlic and tomato and very tender. We decided to order light so my wife and I ordered two hot lobster rolls. While waiting for our dinner my wife pointed out to a separate sushi menu. Wow, it looked impressive. I would have ordered as a dinner if I had seen it sooner. No problem, I was going to have a few favorites with or after our lobster rolls. The lobster rolls came with crispy chips. We immediately were met with disappointment in tasting the lobster, which was very chewy. We informed our waitress and she immediately took them for replacement. The new lobster rolls were a little better, but not much. This was very surprising for a seafood restaurant. I think the lobster was prepared and left to sit in a steamer. Anyway we picked the lobster meat from the roll and did our best to eat it. I ordered a sashimi combination which consisted of fresh pieces of tuna (2 kinds) and salmon served with proper condiments over a variety of greens I also ordered the fresh octopus. The tuna and salmon were exceptional I would say one of the freshest I have ever had. The octopus, one of our favorites was presented beautifully over greens. The flavor was excellent! Surprisingly the octopus was chewy. I inquired as to the origin of the octopus Jesicca checked and informed us it was from Japan. I knew that any quality tender octopus had to come from Portugal or somewhere in the Mediterranean Not sure if the chewy was from improper cooking/preparing or the origin Overall we were pleased with our visit to Go Fish. We will try it again in the near future in hopes of giving it 5 stars. The service was excellent and the way management handled replacing our lobster was delightful Go Fish also has an extensive wine selection We signed up on their email list for wine tastings and other specials All considered it was another great "Date Night" Tony & Pinky
