Fab place, always quick and great service, we tend to have takeaway rather than dine in. Highly recommend either. Their portion sizes are always large (we personally love) but bare that in mind especially with the rice and noodles more than anything. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: £10–20

We sat at our table for 20 mins before someone came to take our drinks order, so i asked if he would take our food order to avoid waiting any longer for that to be taken. When our food came mine was on a small oval plate with the biggest pile of chicken and veg stirfry no room for my rice, plus it came with a spoon, so i ask the other young man over to ask if i could have a knife and fork because it was difficult to eat with a spoon. I assumed a stirfry would be served on a bed of noodles but it didnt, the chicken were quite big pieces, i didnt enjoy it at all, my husbands plate was the same size as mine but he had a duck dish so looked even smaller against mine, but at least he could put his noodles or rice on his plate. It was our anniversary so was looking forward to a nice evening, i wanted a dessert but decided against it as there were only 2 things on the dessert menu. We left as soon as possible after paying, we left at 6.40 so we were literally in there 40 mins, we went to the wheatsheaf round the corner for a quick drink, on our way back to our car we past golden cottage and our plates snd glasses were still on the table, i appreciate it was fairly busy but you should have more staff on because there were a few couples waiting as long as us and they were there before us, this was the worst experience i have had at this restaurant we were very dissapointed and my anniversary night was ruined, that is why i have given you a 3, I dont ever complain but felt i had to write a review because it was a horrible night.
