First visit, ordered gravy & biscuits. Tea was $3.45, so ordered water. The biscuits were hard/overcooked. Server checked on me & I let her know. She offered to replace them, but as I was expected elsewhere I declined...I figured the gravy would soften them up (I was wrong). The gravy was "ok." Before leaving I asked for a to-go box & boxed my leftovers....I then go to the restroom. While I was in the restroom, my table was cleaned, leftovers thrown away & someone was already at my table!!!! I was in there for LESS than a minute to blow my nose & wash my hands! I then had to have my leftovers re-made...which I really didn't have for. When I got to the car I checked the food to make sure it was secure & noticed there was gravy all over the top of the to-go container, I placed it into a grocery bag and secured in my car. I check the biscuit in a separate box & was pleased to see they had given me an extra one....but then disappointed to see they were very, very hard & dark brown. If I had made those at home & they had turned out like that, I would have just thrown them out. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Golden Yolk. The food was tasteful and we had great service. The Southern Fancy Fries are a must! Enjoyed the Good Ole Boy Breakfast and the Three Piggies Omelette (I added onions). Plenty of food, so go hungry! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food is great! Vibe is cool! Service leaves something to be desired. I have been here three times and the last 2 visits I have had to work to get the attention of someone who could help me as my waitress disappeared and was no where to be seen. The other odd part of the experience is how they seem to skimp on the oddest itemsI asked for butter for my toast and received a pinch of butter in return and when I ordered a tea, I received 3/4 of a cup of hot water instead of a full cupodd. Again the food is good, they just miss the mark on a great experience. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
