It was a very disappointing dining experience at Sumo Niku SM Batangas City. The staff members were unprofessional, slow, and inattentive, and the restaurant had a strong, unpleasant odor and poor ventilation. We had barely been there for around 1.5 hours when the manager told us twice to pay even though we hadn't finished our meal, despite the restaurant's three-hour maximum dining period. We waited more than half an hour for the bill. All in all, it was the worst samgyupsal experience we've ever had. NOT RECOMMENDED. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₱500–1,000 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Customer service SUCKS. There's like 7 waiters just standing at the front, but NONE of them are attentive at all. They're all chitchatting, and none of them looked our way whenever we asked for service. I am baffled, as someone who is from Canada, there are KBBQ spots who would only have two waiters, but we were well assisted. This store had 7, but service was painfully slow. I also asked them for a thong, TWICE, with two different waiters, but I didn't get my thongs. The meat is frozen, therefore everything we cooked was hard and did not taste good. I did not enjoy my stay here. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₱500–1,000
