We used to order from this place when we wanted a nicer pizza from time to time. We got sticker shock with the new owner experience. We told them about it and their response was that it reflects their current ingredients and operating costs. Proceed with caution. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

BEWARE! If you use a CC they will charge more! Empty cup for water $2., ordered ravioli served on styrofoam 5 covered with cheese, very tiny bit of sauce, lasagna , cold in the middle, and one coke for son, stale baklava total $48.92! No salad one coke tiny bit of sauce sooo if you go, have very deep pockets . The taste just so so ! Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

So if you have lived in Calhoun, GA for a few decades, you likely remember this place as simply "Gondolier's" which had pretty good pizza but a reputation for poor service stemming from an often misunderstood owner who's brusque personality could sometimes sour the experience. However, the food was quite good. Now days, Gondola Pizza does not deserve the hate it gets in the comments, at least not that my family has witnessed. This is by far the best gyro around with outstanding tzatziki. But the menu is deep with Greek and Italian options like salads chock full of fresh veggies, olives, and feta, baked pasta dripping in cheesy goodness, and pizza that is unique and delicious. You won't leave hungry either, as the portions are stupid-big; you will need a to-go box. And If you do not like the in-house service, try ordering take-out or delivery instead.
