Good Friends

Hi Rico, Thank you for your feedback. We take food safety extremely seriously, so we were very concerned to read your review. To clarify, our chicken wings are pre-fried during preparation, then deep fried again at high temperature when ordered, and finally finished in a wok with seasoning. As a result of this process, the chicken is cooked multiple times at high heat, and it would not be possible for it to be undercooked. The pink colour you’ve mentioned can sometimes occur due to the seasoning and spices used during the stir-fry, which can affect the appearance of the meat even when it is fully cooked. We are sorry to hear that you felt unwell afterwards. While we cannot directly link this to our food, we take all concerns seriously and follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures at all times. We understand you have reported this to the council and will, of course, fully cooperate with any enquiries. We would also appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand your experience. Kind regards, Good Friends
