I wish I could have loved the experience but unfortunately our bartender, Chris, was an absolute creep. The food and drinks were amazing, but he ruined the place for us. He was immediately flirty with one of my friends, which could be fine, but he went way too far in it. She had continued him to make us shots and when he came over he commented on the fact that he could see her "lacy undwear." She attempted to shut down the conversation as it was making her uncomfortable but he doubled down and said that he would love if she took her pants off so he could see them better. We were all astonished and she was very uncomfortable. Even hours later shes talking about how uncomfortable she was and is constantly readjusting her outfit to make sure that her underwear is not showing. She was wearing a very tasteful outfit and was not seeking any attention with what she was wearing. Im incredibly dissapointed in this experience. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Oh wow I pity the wait staff here their life must be so awful to be this outwardly inhospitable, rude, belittling, and condescending to guests. I rarely leave reviews but the bartender here was so diabolically rude i feel compelled to warn others to go to another bar. If you read the other comments they’re all complaining about the “racist or overtly rude and bad attitude” of the bartenders. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We live in the neighborhood and have been excited for Good Funk to open after seeing that the Beatnik bar was going through “renovations”. It’s the first and only natural wine bar in the neighborhood. We made it there this week. The som was great and super informative, the wine was and the toasts were the perfect snack for pairing. The vibe was great: still a beautiful space, they added a couch for lounging while sipping, music on vinyl, and movies silently playing on a screen. Excited to be a regular again! Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
