After 4 years in Visalia, we decided to stop in because the place we were hoping to go to next door went out of business! Figured we would try this place out. WOW! Great ambience, super friendly service, great menu choices, and best of all - this is a locally owned family business! Food was exceptional! I had the Blue Hawaiian burger with 2 patties and onion rings (homemade rings were amazing!) My wife had the Hunka Burning Burger with jalapeno poppers, pepper jack cheese, and avocado. She was ecstatic! Seasoned fries were cooked to perfection. Too much to eat, so took home leftovers. If you like cozy 50'-60's diners with jukebox music and memorabilia, then this is the place. We will be back! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a great breakfast experience at Good Times Cafe in Visalia and would definitely come back. The restaurant has a fun 1950s and 1960s diner vibe, and they even had I Love Lucy playing on the TV, which added a nice nostalgic touch. I arrived around 10:00 a.m., and although it wasn't very busy, the service was excellent and incredibly fast. My server, Jamie, was outstanding. I mentioned that I prefer my coffee strong, and instead of simply bringing what was already made, she brewed a fresh pot of stronger coffee just for me. That kind of customer service doesn't go unnoticed, and the coffee was excellent. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and Spam. The food came out surprisingly fast, and everything was delicious. The biscuits were cut into triangles, which was a little different, but you could immediately tell they were made in-house and not frozen. They were light, fresh, and full of flavor. The restaurant itself was very clean, including the restroom, which says a lot about how much pride they take in their business. There was also an older gentleman, who I assume was either the owner or manager, greeting customers as they came and went. He was friendly, welcoming, and made the place feel like a true locally owned business that genuinely cares about its customers. The menu offers much more than breakfast. I noticed burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes, and even banana splits, making it a great spot whether you're stopping in for breakfast or lunch. The cafe is conveniently located in the shopping center between Lowe's and Olive Garden, right next to Cold Stone Creamery, so there's plenty of parking available. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. Great food, outstanding service, excellent coffee, a clean restaurant, and a welcoming atmosphere. I don't hand out 5-star reviews lightly, but this place earned it. Don't just take my word for it, stop by, create your own experience, and then come back and write your own review. Based on my visit, I'll definitely be back.
