An improvement over the place formally know as Bea's. The place was not very crowded for a Saturday at dinner which is always a warning light me. We tried to a order a Mojito with coconut rum but the waitress said the bartender didn't know how to make it....so we just ordered soup and dinner. The Clam Chowder was fantastic! as was my wife's Onion Soup. So thumbs and an extra star just for the soup. The dinner we had was typical pub fair, a Reuban Sandwich and Fish and Chips. They were tasty and satisfying, but nothing to rave about. So overall ....it's just a good decent pub with good food, great soup, cool turn of the century (19th century) atmosphere..... and doesn't know how to make a Coconut Mojito. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We went there for lunch. The manager was the bartender that day. Had no clue what he was doing and showing it. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. When it came out the meat was off colored and it smelled. I told them this isn’t right. Apparently the meat was old. So I could’ve been really sick of this. How do you send meat that smells so bad and looks bad out. I will never go there again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Under new Management, and new staff. They are rebuilding and in a good way. Jason, (head of operations) Esteban (Head mixologist) are very personable. Laura (one of the bartenders) makes Great Drinks. The New Chef is passionate about his menu which is always a good thing. As for the rest of the staff they were very friendly and helpful. So if not just for there efforts they get 5 stars from me. The Grand Avenue Tavern is on there way up ! Keep up the good work guys.
